The social transformations and the technological progress in sanitary field have considerably modified the hospital conception. The hospital becomes space in which the individual is revalued and placed at the centre of the design process. From a neutral envelope, aseptic and marginalizing, the hospital space therefore becomes relationship and meeting space. Factors not easily valuable contribute to defining the quality of the space in terms of humanization.
